This elegant necklace is handmade from recycled and up-cycled materials. The copper elements come from offcuts of discarded copper pipe, which have been shaped and buffed. The turquoise element is made from waste paper which has been pulped and compressed. The chain is recycled sterling silver.
 
The versatile necklace can be worn at multiple lengths, the round copper and paper end  is passed through the oval end and can either be left loose or can be passed through again to fix it in place. The necklace pictured being worn is for demonstration purposes only to show how you can wear my slip necklaces, this listing is for the one boxed only.
 
The copper can be left to darken over time however it can also be kept bright by gently cleaning with a metal polishing cloth at regular intervals.
 
The paper element has been sealed to protect it from everyday wear, however it should not be exposed to excessive moisture, and the necklace should be removed before showering and sleeping. Please be gentle.
 
Being handmade there may be small imperfections, these just add to the character!
