These unique earrings are handmade using recycled and up-cycled materials. The paper elements are made from waste paper which has been pulped, coloured and compressed, and then finished with gold leaf. The paper 'globe' is suspended in the middle of a piece of hand-worked brass and will spin freely. The earring hooks and wire are recycled sterling silver.
 
As these earrings are entirely handmade they are one of a kind. The colour is of the boxed pair.
 
The brass can be left to darken over time however it can also be kept bright by gently cleaning witha metal polishing cloth at regular intervals.
 
The paper elements have been sealed to protect them from everyday wear, however they should not be exposed to excessive moisture, and the earrings should be removed before showering and sleeping. Please be gentle.
 
Being handmade there may be small imperfections, these just add to the character!
